The Black Autistic Girls, Women & Mothers Virtual Summit returns for its second annual event, happening October 10th–12th, 2025. This three-day virtual gathering is dedicated to celebrating and addressing the unique experiences of Black autistic girls and women (ages 11 and up), as well as their mothers and caregivers.
As a pioneering summit, we are committed to creating a safe, affirming, and empowering space where voices that are too often overlooked are placed at the center.
This year’s sessions will be pre-recorded, so you can watch them at your convenience during the summit dates — no stress about missing out if you can’t join live.
You’ll experience a powerful lineup of speakers and community leaders sharing insights, strategies, and resources that reflect the realities of Black autistic girls and women. Our goal is to spark meaningful conversations, amplify authentic stories, and foster stronger community connections.
The Summit is more than just an event — it’s a movement toward understanding, affirmation, and empowerment for the Black autistic community.
Reserve your free ticket today and be part of this historic gathering!
At Autism in Black®, we are committed to creating spaces that amplify voices, celebrate strengths, and provide focused support for Black autistic girls, women, and their mothers and caregivers.
Empowering Voices:
Our summit is designed to center the experiences of Black autistic girls and women, while also uplifting the voices of mothers and caregivers who walk this journey alongside them. Together, they are provided a safe and supportive platform to share their stories, challenges, and triumphs. By highlighting these voices, we foster self-advocacy, confidence, and a sense of belonging within the community.
Celebrating Strengths:
We believe every individual and family has unique strengths and talents to offer. Our sessions focus on highlighting and affirming these abilities — whether it’s a young girl stepping into self-advocacy, a woman owning her identity, or a mother providing powerful guidance and care. By shifting the narrative from deficits to strengths, we encourage participants to embrace their identities and relationships with pride, promoting a positive and empowering view of autism.
Focused Support:
Black autistic girls and women, along with their mothers and caregivers, face unique challenges that are often overlooked in mainstream discussions about autism. This summit is dedicated to addressing those specific needs with tailored sessions and resources. From puberty and menstrual health to mental well-being, self-advocacy, and caregiver support, participants will gain practical strategies to navigate their lives with confidence and community care.
The Summit isn’t just an event — it’s a movement to build an affirming and connected community where Black autistic girls, women, and their mothers and caregivers are fully seen, heard, and celebrated.
